What is an Agile Coach? Mainly Agile coaches involved in the following activities -
  • Train teams on Agile-based approaches
  • Coach teams for performance
  • Mentor teams on Agile practices
  • Create high-performance teams
  • Facilitate team events
  • Evaluate and advise different Agile frameworks
  • Remove Impediments
  • Setting up governing policies to support agile-based approaches
  • Facilitating Conflict resolutions
  • Mentoring and Teaching teams in Engineering practices:
  • Mentoring teams in solving technical problems
  • Mentoring Organization on Business Model
  • Providing consulting on Business Domain
All these attributes are required in different mixes depending on the role of the agile coach. In general, Process Coach, Delivery Coach, and enterprise Agile Coach are the most widely noticed patterns that perform different mixes of the above activities.

A Multi-team Agile coach can be a Process Coach, Delivery Coach, and enterprise Agile Coach. However, when you work as an Agile coach, there may not be a clear-cut distinction between these roles. You may actually be required to function as a coach who performs more than one role, sometimes all roles. For more details, please refer following blog-
