Requirement stage VS requirement status

Mon Nov 08, 2021 9:55 am

Hello,

In the « requirement life cycle » video, the terms « stage » and « status » seem to be used interchangeably. Is it correct? Do they have the same meaning or should we be careful as they refer to different things?

Thank you

Yes it may look interchangeable, the STAGE is an important element and it usually represents the WORKFLOW stage of a given requirement.
Say, it is an Analysis, develops etc

The Status can be something generic, it can get things like On HOLD, Completed, Deferred etc, it possible that the requirement reaches to Dev Stage and get on HOLD.
