Agile & Hybrid test related questions

Mon Oct 18, 2021 10:06 am

Hi Saket,

While attempting another test on Agile & Hybrid topic, I found below mentioned terms unheard of.

Can you please elaborate these -

1. Spike Item
2. INVEST

Also, I was confused on below question, can you please explain the reason behind "Feature Driven Development" being the correct answer. I had marked "Scrum of Scrums".

Two startups have merged and now have more than 100 developers on eight agile teams working on a common portfolio. Which agile practice can best ensure release coordination between the teams?

1. Scrum of Scrums
2. Mobbing
3. Scrumban
4. Feature-Driven Development

Thanks,
Mayuresh

INVEST

We use this acronym to show the qualities of good user story, it can be used as Definition of Ready for a User Story
So a good User story should be

Independent : can be developed and add value independently
Negotiable: Some scope of the story even get negotiated while doing development
Valuable: Should add value to end user
Estimateable : should be easy to estimate
Small : Small enough to fit in one iteration
Testable: Should have clear acceptance criteria attached to make it testable

Spike Item or Spike Story

This is something like you run an experiment, in the general language you may call it Proof of Concept work (PoC) , so to discover some unknown you run an experiment and doing that kind of job is called Spike.

I find your question and choice good, is this from our database and if yes, is it having something else as answer ?
