Solution
The spike is correct because items should be sufficiently researched (to determine the best way to deliver business value and phrase sufficiently detailed, testable stories. Distractors are incorrect because counter to the method (ranked alternatives) or not properly weighing the business value aspects.

I answered last option. Need to understand why spike is the correct option as we can also choose the fastest way to build.

Fast is not necessary the best, may be cheap is the best or may be best option is the one which has less risk.

So we need to discover, spike is termed as an experiment, where we try something and learn about the problem at hand.

Got your point. I was only thinking from one point of view and also came across this term spike is used to experiment and analyze the problem at hand.
