60 PDUs for PMP: Short of 4 PDUs

Tue Sep 08, 2015 5:27 am

Hi Saket, et al,

I am short of 4 PDU to claim my 60 PDU for my PMP cert. Most of my claimed PDUs falls under Category A.

Question:

I preparing for PMI-ACP and have read PMI-ACP Exam Prep, Mike Griffith reference book twice. Can I claim my balance 4 PDUs under Category C?

Please suggest.

Best,
Pankaj

Saket's Blog reference:
Category C: Self-Directed Learning

This is the most interesting category, and I am sure, after reading this blog you will earn 30 PDUs in this category may be in a matter of few days, since this is about you learning and reporting PDUs. The activities listed below are as simple as brushing your learning and in return you earn PDUs too.

Reading articles, books, blogs
Watching videos on Project Management,
Having formal discussions with colleagues, coworkers, clients or consultants on project management
Being coached or mentored by a colleague, coworker or consultant
